 The Savory Sage is where Southern roots meet a wider world of flavor. Inspired by time spent in Charleston and shaped by a deep respect for hospitality, our cuisine is grounded in tradition while gently pushing beyond it. You’ll find the warmth of Southern cooking woven together with vibrant Asian influences, layered spices, and thoughtful technique.

At its heart, The Savory Sage is about elevated American cuisine with a flexible, creative spirit. From refined dinner experiences to bold, globally inspired menus, each dish is crafted with intention, seasonality, and a balance of comfort and curiosity.

No matter the setting, we approach every table the same way: with soulful flavors, artful presentation, and a desire to create something that feels both familiar and unexpectedly beautiful. 

I’ve long believed that good food, good eating, is all about risk. Whether we’re talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime ‘associates,’ food, for me, has always been an adventure.
